The national data collection phase is scheduled to run from 8–21 September 2025. In preparation, we’ve seen strong engagement across sectors, thanks to support from our strategic partners including MOCCAE, ADAFSA, Tadweer Group, Aldar, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Environment and Climate Change Authority (DECCA), the Ministry of Economy, Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC), and statistics centres across all emirates.
In collaboration with FCSC and Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD), data collection agents have now been trained with specialised measurement methodologies to accurately capture household and small establishment waste data. A successful pilot earlier this year helped refine protocols and build readiness for national rollout.
